The Shimano Ultegra 5500 XTD is the Big Pit reel for the carp angler. This impressive throwing gun has extremely accurate line placement, resulting in very far casts. The reel features an X-ship internals and a High-Speed slip knob. Besides its advanced technologies, the Ultegra 5500 XTD is also a stunning mill in terms of looks. The matt black finish, supplied with a spare spool, 2 line reducers and equipped with X-Ship for years of smooth operation, Slow Oscillation for distant casts and Instant Drag for an extremely sensitive slip that goes from fully closed to free running in half a turn of the slip knob.
