The Metanium DC is the flagship model of European baitcasting reels. Besides impressive technologies such as 9+1 bearings, X-Ship, HAGANE Body, MicroModule and S3D spool, the biggest advantage of this reel is its braking system. This is powered by the digital I-DC5 braking system that calculates the exact braking force needed on the reel during casting. 1000 times per second! You choose a preset as a setting (bait type, line type) and the reel does the rest. The result is easier fishing, extra casting distance, fewer knots and wigs and less trouble casting against the wind.
