The crimp tool has been developed by the Korda team to make a super-strong connection in a variety of hooklink materials without tying knots. Tests show that a connection using a crimp is considerably stronger than a knot, while it is now possible to make particularly neat, but also ultra-short rigs. (e.g. chod-rigs, combination rigs) The Crimp Pliers come with a free selection of small and large-sized crimps, which are compatible with rigid mono lines but also with the majority of rigid coated underline materials. The small crimps can be used for materials from 0.43mm to 0.60mm in diameter and the large crimps are used for diameters from 0.60mm to 0.70mm. With the Crimp Tool it is possible in a very simple way, to make the rig to the same length every time. If you are looking for a certain consistency in your fishing then the Crimp Tool is the ideal tool.
