The Super Wide Gape hook was developed after intensive discussions between Fox consultants and experienced carp anglers who believe that a larger hook gape leads to more hooked carp. The hook has a long and wide bend, a sharp inward point and a larger gape than previously developed hooks. In tests, even when used with simple rigs, this hook proved excellent performance. The large gape increases the chances of a good hooking and reduces the need to think about rig mechanics, allowing the focus to be on finding the right fishing spot.
